Fairmead is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for a Site Manager to oversee the initial setup and early-stage works of a new project at Wycombe. This role is critical in ensuring a well-structured and efficient site setup, managing groundworks, and overseeing key foundation installations.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee site setup to ensure smooth operations from day one

* Manage and coordinate groundworks, excavations, and foundation installations

* Supervise poured concrete works and erecting of foundation pads

* Ensure strict compliance with health & safety regulations and quality standards

* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to maintain workflow

* Monitor progress, resolve on-site challenges, and maintain accurate site records

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a Site Manager with a strong background in groundworks, as this role requires hands-on expertise in excavations, poured concrete, and foundation installations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing early-stage construction activities, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. A solid understanding of site setup, ground conditions, and coordinating groundwork teams is essential to keep the project on schedule from day one.

Tickets Required:

* Valid and in-date CSCS card

* Valid and in-date First Aid certificate

* Minimum Level 4 HNC in Construction or related field

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Valid and in-date SMSTS qualification
