About the Role:
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Northampton
Age Group: Primary
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small-group support for children with learning difficulties, autism, and other special educational needs.
Assist in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Support the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and activities.
Help with personal care and emotional well-being when required.
Use positive behaviour strategies to encourage engagement and development.
Requirements:
Experience working with children with SEN is desirable .
A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
Must have the right to work in the UK.
An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS is required (or willingness to apply).
