Pertemps Dudley are currently recruiting for a Trainee Press Brake Operator on behalf of our client in Dudley. As a Trainee Press Brake Operator, you will be trained to operate press brake machines used to bend and shape metal sheets. You will work alongside experienced operators and receive hands-on training to ensure you develop the skills necessary to excel in this role.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in setting up and operating press brake machines.
Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Measure and inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
Perform routine machine maintenance and safety checks.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. 
Qualifications:

Machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Ability to read and understand technical documents.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.

Hours of work:
6am-2pm Monday-Friday
 
Rate of pay:
£12.30 with scope to increase after training
