Job Title: Social Media and Content Officer/Executive

Salary: £27,000 - £33,000

We are looking for a creative and motivated individual to join our team as a Social Media and Content Officer/Executive. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital presence, driving audience engagement, and growing our brand awareness. Qualifications:

Proficiency in social media management tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills, with an eye for creativity and attention to detail.
Ability to create captivating visual content, with knowledge of best practices for imagery, videos, and typography in social posts.
Experience with video creation, including storyboarding, filming, and editing.
Basic graphic design skills using tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar.
Experience with paid social advertising, including setup, optimisation, and reporting on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) for performance tracking, analysis, and reporting.
Understanding of SEO and content marketing strategies.
Familiarity with influencer marketing and experience managing relationships with influencers and external collaborators.
Experience in video editing or content creation is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

Develop, implement, and optimise social media strategies across multiple platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Create, schedule, and manage a diverse range of content (posts, stories, videos, reels) that aligns with our mission and engages both existing and new audiences.
Monitor social media channels to interact with followers, respond to queries, and foster community growth.
Analyse social media performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social, and create reports to inform future strategies.
Execute A/B testing to determine the effectiveness of various social media campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes to ensure optimal engagement and visibility.Content Creation:

Develop engaging and high-quality content, including blogs, articles, social media posts, infographics, and videos, tailored to specific audience segments.
Work closely with graphic designers and video editors to create visually compelling multimedia content that supports campaigns.
Write persuasive and creative copy for marketing campaigns, emails, and other digital marketing materials that inspire action and resonate with our audience.
Research and incorporate trending topics and industry news into content to maintain relevance and interest.Influencer Marketing and Partnerships:

Identify, engage, and manage relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and community partners to amplify our message and increase our reach.
Develop and manage campaigns with influencers, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing goals.
Monitor the performance of influencer campaigns, track deliverables, and measure ROI.
Ensure influencer content complies with advertising regulations, including proper disclosure of paid partnerships.Paid Social Campaigns:

Plan, execute, and manage paid social media advertising campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to support fund-raising, awareness, and engagement goals.
Create ad copy, manage creative assets, and handle the setup of targeting, budgeting, and bidding strategies.
Conduct ongoing optimisation of ad campaigns based on performance data to maximise return on investment.
Monitor campaign KPIs such as CTR, CPC, and conversions, and adjust tactics to ensure objectives are met.Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work:

Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, sales, product development) to ensure consistent messaging across all digital channels.
Collaborate with external agencies, freelance designers, photographers, or videographers to produce high-quality content.
Assist in the development of marketing campaign calendars, ensuring timely delivery of all social and digital content.
Act as the social media point of contact during cross-departmental initiatives to ensure cohesion and brand consistency.Event and Campaign Promotion:

Support the marketing team in planning and promoting online and offline events, webinars, or charity drives through social media and digital campaigns.
