Driver Hire Southampton is on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Forklift Driver with an accredited B3 Counterbalance Licence to join our client's dynamic team.

As a Forklift Truck Driver, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the Service Centre operates smoothly and efficiently. Your main responsibilities will include safely moving equipment, organising stock, and preparing items for hire-all while maintaining a safe and tidy workspace.

Position Details

Type: 12-week temp-to-perm role
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM (8-10-hour shifts)
Location: Southampton & Winchester areaKey Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts to handle large equipment in the yard.
Organise and prepare equipment for customer hire.
Check, store, and maintain hired equipment.
Keep the yard and workshop clean and safe.
Interact with customers during loading and unloading processes.What We're Looking For

A valid and up-to-date B3 Counterbalance Forklift Licence
Reliable transport for commuting to and from the site.
Good physical fitness to meet job demands.
Previous forklift experience is essential.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
A proactive approach to health and safety procedures.
