Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an SEND School in Liverpool who are looking for people with a background in Psychology to best support their students who have additional needs. The school are seeking a Psychology Graduate to support children with a range of needs, including but not limited to:

Autism Spectrum Disorder
ADHD
Dyslexia
SEMH
Global Delay
Profound and Moderate Learning Difficulties
Visual Impairments
Medical NeedsThe successful applicant will be give the opportunity to use their expertise to support children aged 3-19 years old, whilst gaining experience to further their career. The role will begin as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the academic year.

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with a range of additional needs.
Monitor and track student progress.
Provide a supportive environment to help children develop socially and academically.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to provide effective support.
