Sanza Teaching Agency is delighted to be partnering with a vibrant and supportive primary school in the heart of Haringey to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant. This rewarding role involves providing one-to-one support for a pupil in Year 3 with Autism.
Key Details:
Role Type: Full-time, long-term contract
Days: Monday to Friday
Start Date: January 2025 (earlier start date possible for the right candidate)
Pay: Competitive daily rate with an increase after 12 weeksKey Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to a Year 3 pupil with Autism, focusing on their learning, emotional well-being, and social development.
Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver effective strategies and interventions.
Foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Monitor and document the pupil's progress, sharing insights with staff and parents.Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs, particularly Autism, is essential.
Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom setting is essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
