We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Behaviour Mentor to join our Pupil Referral Unit in Waltham Forest. The successful candidate will work closely with students who face challenges with their behaviour, providing them with the support and encouragement needed to succeed in an alternative education setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and group support to students who display challenging behaviour.
Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to help students improve their conduct and engagement with learning.
Act as a role model, promoting positive behaviour and attitudes.
Liaise with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure students are fully supported.
Help students to develop self-esteem, resilience, and social skills.Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people with behavioural difficulties, ideally in a PRU or similar setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to build positive relationships and earn the trust of students.
A calm, patient, and non-judgmental approach to dealing with challenging behaviour.
A commitment to helping students overcome barriers to learning.What We Offer:
