We have an exciting new opportunity to join the Service Support Engineering Team as a Service Support Mechanical Engineer.
As an experienced Fabricator and Machinist you will reproduce items or parts to a pattern or from a drawing to assist with the repair of company vehicles. This may also include non bus items such as; lifting frames, tools and Drifts.
Keeping a safe environment with good housekeeping, you will safely operate various power tools, hand tools and welding equipment. Calibrating, maintaining and completing pre use checks as required.
You will be required to keep up to date patterns, records and logs. You will attend training sessions and assist in company training sessions, to ensure everyone in the team has the correct knowledge and skill base
What you will need…
NVQ level 3 or equivalent relevant experience in the mechanical engineering, Fabrication
Proven experience working with and operating industrial equipment such as :- Centre Lathe, Radial Drill, Milling Machine, Band Saws, along with other common machine shop equipment.
Knowledge of automotive engineering and PCV industry (preferred)
Valid Full UK driving licence
