Trainee Freight Forwarder

Location: Feltham, London

Salary: circa. £20,000pa

My client is looking for a Trainee Freight Forwarder to join their team and support the business' Air Freight Operations. You will have the opportunity to develop your career in logistics, eventually becoming a fully-fledged Air Freight Operator. Your new career in Logistics starts here!

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (9:00am - 5:30pm)

Opportunities and encouragement for progression within the company.Key Responsibilities:

Gathering export documents and executing export entries.
Speak with customers, handling any requests and questions.
Liaise with Airlines and Haulier, organising deliveries.
Liaise with 3PL suppliers and warehousing.
Be an integral part of the Air Freight Team and support the Account Management with day-to-day operations.Requirements:

Keen to learn and start your career in logistics.
Excellent telephone manner, customer service and attention to detail.
Good verbal and written communication.
Previous exposure to the logistics and supply chain industry advantageous, but not essential.
