gap construction are proud to be representing a leading multi-disciplined construction engineering company in their search for an Estimator/Project Manager. Projects will cover a range of disciplines including fit-out & refurbishment.

This will be a dual role responsible for both estimating costs for construction projects and managing the overall execution of these projects. This role involves preparing detailed cost estimates, developing project budgets, managing timelines, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Performance Objectives

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on architectural drawings, specifications, and site conditions.
Analyse labour, material, and time requirements for projects.
Obtain and review subcontractor quotes for accuracy and completeness.
Develop project budgets and provide cost analysis to ensure competitive pricing.
Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with project execution.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Resolve project-related issues and disputes effectively.
Monitor project expenditures and manage project budgets.
Prepare and present financial reports, including cost forecasts and variance analysis.
Ensure timely billing and payment collection from clients and stakeholders.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Communicate project status, issues, and updates to clients and stakeholders regularly.
Facilitate effective communication among project team members.
Ensure construction work meets quality standards and client specifications.
Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor compliance and quality.
Address and rectify any quality issues promptly.
Person Specification

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction estimating and project management.
Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
Experience with various types of construction projects, including, industrial, manufacturing, and commercial.
Proficient in various estimating software's and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Ability to read and interpret drawings, and specifications.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Team player with strong leadership capabilities.Apply
