We’re seeking a Deputy Head of Resident Doctors (Critical Care) to join an award-winning healthcare provider in London! This role comes with a generous salary of up to £92,766 and excellent benefits. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. 80% of your time will be clinical with 20% protected management time.

This well-equipped, busy hospital has 200+ beds, a 20+ bed ITU, 4 operating theatres and 38 consulting rooms. As the Deputy Head of Resident Doctors for Critical Care, you will:
As a key member of the consultant-led team you will oversee and deliver high-quality care within the Critical Care and ITU units.
Working closely with the Head of Resident Doctors, you’ll serve as the clinical expert, managing patient care from admission through discharge, coordinating daily ward rounds, and responding to urgent medical needs, including airway management as required.
This is an exceptional opportunity to build strong partnerships with top consultants, support the professional development of a small team of Critical Care Doctors, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing.To apply for this Deputy Head of Resident Doctors (Critical Care) role, you will need full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and Bayes EMML Fellowship (Executive Masters in Medical Leadership) or willingness to undertake this. You will also need to be medically trained within Critical Care/Anaesthetics. To achieve the top end of the salary you will need proven experience in workforce planning, clinical education, training supervision and be comfortable managing a diverse team.
