The successful candidate will be able to produce detailed electrical designs, including schematics, LV distribution, lighting, small power & data, fire alarm, security layouts. They should also be able to support the Design/Engineering team to ensure project deliverables are achieved. This Electrical Design Engineer will need to do undertake calculations in accordance with the latest British Standards as well as make steps to minimise expenses and non-chargeable costs.

They will also be required to attend design team meetings, internally and externally with clients, communicate design solutions to internal stake holders and external customers, as well as participate in effective presentations to external organisations, clients and peer groups.

This candidate will need to manage task duration to ensure deadlines are met and assist the lead engineers in collating and disseminating project information through the project team.

Skill requirements:
Softwares such as AutoCAD, Trimble, Relux, Microsoft Office and Revit (not critical).
Building Services Engineering HNC, or degree - equivalent within a relevant subject.
CAD experience.
