Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer / Customer Support Engineer required to join a manufacturer based in Maidstone, Kent.

The Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer / Customer Support Engineer will produce engineering quotations and provide technical support remotely to export customers in the Middle East.

The Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer / Customer Support Engineer will have a technical background in engineering or manufacturing and live in a commutable distance to the office based in Maidstone, Kent.

This is an office-based position in Maidstone with travel to the Middle East required three times a year to meet key accounts and develop new business opportunities.

Package:

Up to £40,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities:

Produce engineering quotations and provide technical support remotely to export clients in the Middle East
Respond to general sales & engineering enquiries via email
Generate new leads and prospects for the company
Develop current and new accounts to build lasting relationships
Work towards KPI’s
Liaise with colleagues and the technical team to support your customers and provide technical solutions
Office based position in Maidstone, Kent with occasional travel to the Middle East to meet your clients and develop new business opportunities (three times a year) 

Requirements:

A background in an engineering or manufacturing environment such as Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Precision Engineering or similar
Prior experience as a Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer / Customer Support Engineer / Technical Representative / Product Support Engineer or other relevant experience
Live within commutable distance from the main office based in Maidstone, Kent
