Job Advert: Qualified HLTA - Primary School in Castle Vale

Are you a skilled and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) ready to make an impact in a vibrant primary school setting? We’re seeking an experienced HLTA to join our team at a primary school in Castle Vale.

Role Overview: As a HLTA, you’ll support teachers in the classroom and take on teaching responsibilities when a teacher is absent. This role requires confidence in covering all year groups, from Early Years through to KS2, with a special emphasis on supporting pupils with SEND.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and learning support

* Deliver pre-planned lessons when teachers are off sick, ensuring continuity in pupils' learning

* Work across all primary year groups with flexibility and confidence

* Provide additional support for SEND pupils, adapting resources and strategies to meet individual needs

Requirements:

* Qualified HLTA with relevant certification

* Proven experience working with SEND pupils

* Ability to manage diverse classroom dynamics across all year groups
