TAG Construction Ltd are currently seeking a skilled,proficient and versatile Concrete Worker to join our team. 
A Concrete Ganger will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of concrete construction crews on construction sites. Your primary duties will involve overseeing the placement, pouring, and finishing of concrete to ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Job Description: 
As a Concrete Operative at Tag, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of concrete construction crews on construction sites. Your primary duties will involve overseeing the placement, pouring, and finishing of concrete to ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and advancement within our organization. 
Responsibilities: 

Supervision: Direct and supervise concrete construction crews, including concrete finishers, formwork carpenters, and laborers, to ensure work is performed according to specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
Coordination: Coordinate with site management, project managers, and other trades to schedule concrete pours and ensure seamless integration with other construction activities.
Concrete Placement: Oversee the preparation of formwork, reinforcement, and concrete mixes prior to placement. Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and bracing of formwork to meet design requirements.
Pouring and Finishing: Monitor concrete pours to ensure proper placement, consolidation, and finishing techniques are applied. Supervise the operation of concrete pumps, mixers, and other equipment as needed.
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of concrete work to verify compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. Address any defects or issues promptly to maintain quality and integrity. Requirements: 
- CSCS Blue Groundworker 
- Proven experience as a concrete ganger or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry..
- Thorough knowledge of concrete construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to concrete construction work, including COSHH and CDM regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card required.
- Valid driving license may be advantageous for site travel.
