Contract Control Engineer – IFIX SCADA & Rockwell PLC
Location: Burton-on-Trent
Industry: Food & Beverage (Breweries)
Contract Rate: £50 - £55 per hour
Duration: 4 months (potential for extension)
We are seeking a skilled Contract Control Engineer to join our dynamic engineering services team, working on exciting projects in the food and beverage industry, specifically for breweries. This is a contract position with an initial duration of 4 months, with the possibility of extension based on project demand.
Key Responsibilities as Contract Control Engineer:
* Develop, program, and maintain Rockwell PLC systems for process automation.
* Implement and configure IFIX SCADA systems to monitor and control brewery processes.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless integration of automation systems in production facilities.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing control systems to minimize downtime.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
* Provide technical support and training to site staff as required.
Key Requirements as Contract Control Engineer:
* Proven experience working with IFIX SCADA systems.
* Hands-on expertise with Rockwell PLC programming and troubleshooting.
* Strong background in control systems for the food and beverage industry, ideally with experience in brewery environments.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks across various stages of the project lifecycle.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project needs.
Additional Information:
* Location: Based in Burton-on-Trent, with travel to client sites as needed.
* Duration: 4-month contract.
* Rate: Up to £55 per hour, commensurate with experience.
