Jr Java & AWS Engineer

Job Description

This role involves migration, automation of AWS infrastructure creation, replacing non-supported services, and ensuring successful deployment by passing integration and non-regression tests. Note, data migration is not included in this project.

Essential Skills

Experience with Java Development Kit (JDK) 17
Proficiency in AWS 2.0 SDK
Familiarity with AWS Graviton and building locally for ARM
Capability to automate AWS infrastructure through CDK (Cloud Development Kit)
Ability to replace AWS services not available in the target region with suitable alternatives

Personal Attributes

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and documentation skills

Working Environment

This role involves coordinating with various teams to migrate services to a new region, ensuring all technical specifications are met and all necessary tests are successfully passed.
