Reporting direct to the Roofing Divisional Manager as an Integrity Testing Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out integrity testing operations across existing or recently applied waterproofing membranes in order to identify any areas of potential failure and water ingress. Using the latest testing & reporting technology all your findings will be logged and presented to the client in a manner that either identifies any concerns or records the activity as independent third party support, as requested by the NHBC, LABC, Premier Guarantee and other building/construction warranty providers.
- Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate equipment when working at heights
- Conduct tests and inspections on various products and systems to ensure they meet quality standards
- Follow test procedures and protocols to accurately perform tests and record results
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with products or systems during testing
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to identify areas for improvement in testing processes
- Maintain test equipment and ensure it is calibrated and functioning properly
- Document test results and prepare reports for review by management
Full training will be provided.
This is a full-time role operating across the central & southern regions of the UK, with flexibility for some remote work. Your day-to-day tasks will include recording ELD testing data, communicating with clients, and providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications
* Roofing NVQ2 or Level 2 Diploma in Roofing Occupations is desirable
* Roofing manufacturers own membranes, application and integrity testing training would be helpful
* A NFRC qualification is desirable
* CSCS Blue Card
* Knowledge using equipment manufactured by Buckleys & Leister
* General IT skills, word, excel
