TeacherActive is seeking highly skilled or qualified teaching assistants to work in our primary settings in Basildon and the surrounding areas. Either a Teaching Assistant certification or at least six months of classroom experience will be required of the chosen candidates. You must work in both the foundation phase and Key Stage 2 (KS2), and you must be adaptable from 8:30 am and 15:30 pm. It is expected of you to get completely immersed in nursery life and become a member of the family, making sure that you are providing your students with a home away from home.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or at least 6 months experience within a classroom setting
Ability to get stuck in with the children creating a fun learning environment for all
A caring, positive approach to working with young children
A good knowledge of the Child Protection / Safeguarding procedures
