Job Summary:

Position required:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nursery Operations Manager to join our dynamic management team at our New Nursery. The successful candidate will oversee the setup of opening the nursery doors. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of a journey to provide every child the best foundation in life.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the nursery, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, while being an exceptional role-model.

Operational management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our preschool unit, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards are met to the highest standards.

Staff development: Support and mentor staff and be role model for their development, promoting continuous professional development and ensuring a high standard of care.

Curriculum monitoring and oversight: Work closely with the unit Managers, to ensure the delivery of a stimulating and develop appropriate curriculum for all age groups.

Parental engagement: Promote and model, positive relationships with parents, maintaining open communication and addressing any concerns promptly.

Financial management: Complete and monitor Early Years Nursery Education funding for all children. Manage budget requirements effectively, ensuring financial sustainability of the nursery.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience at Operational level within a nursery or preschool setting.

Early Years degree qualification or equivalent.

Proven track record of successful staff management and team leadership.

Excellent knowledge of early childhood development and educational best practices.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Positive sense of humour and zest for Early Years.
