FTS Group is a thriving, nationwide logistics and recruitment business. We are recruiting for a professional Sales Executive / Business Development Manager to join our young and passionate team. We have been in business for 20 years providing trusted services to our customers and have further plans of growing at a rapid rate. To aid this, we are hiring an individual confident in their Sales abilities, is serious about their profession and wants to develop a respectable sales portfolio. If you are a Sales Executive / Business Development Manager who thrives in a bustling Sales environment, wants to push their potential and join a great family-run business which has an exciting, practical and driven approach; this role is for you.

The Role:

* Developing our 'Distribution' department which comprises of a haulage business and a storage business.

* Onboarding new clients, this includes establishing commercial agreements and providing detail on services provided.

* Using varied sales methods to get through to potential customers, including cold calling, door-stepping and upselling.

* Working with a team of young and ambitious industry professionals, we have a great work culture and a laid-back but results driven approach.

* Working closely, and meeting with the Distribution Manager on a regular basis, who oversees the entirety of the department operations and new business.

* Being a key member of the team in respect to the growth of the business, and working in line with the goals and values of the business, which remain family and service oriented.

The Right Person:

* Will have a solid sales background and be able to demonstrate their previous sales achievements.

* Will have a UK driving licence.

* Will have a pragmatic and respectful approach to their colleagues and customers.

* Will understand what is expected of them in respect to their targets and show dedication to achieving and exceeding personal and professional goals.

* Will show confidence from the start and be willing to learn quickly if they are new to the industry.

* Will be comfortable working alongside a dedicated and experienced (lazy) office dog!
