We have an exciting opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant at a mainstream primary school in the M8 postcode area of Manchester.
Overview:
* SEN Teaching Assistant at large and diverse mainstream primary school in North Manchester, M8.
* Start date: ASAP
* Contract: Long term, could go perm for the right person.
* Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–3:30 pm.
* Pay: £90–105/day DOE, for first 12 weeks.
* Equal pay to perm staff from 13th week onwards.
* Paid PAYE by Now Education (we don't use umbrella companies).
Role:
* Provide smal group & 1:1 support to children with SEN throughout the school where required. You could be working in either KS1 or KS2.
* Tailor your approach to meet the individual needs, levels and interests of the pupils you are supporting.
* Work closely with the class teachers, other TAs and parents.
* Promote and safe, inclusive & fun classroom environment.

Requirements:
* An up to date CV with full education and work history.
* Proof of Right to Work & Address in the UK.
* A DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
* At least 2 professional references.
* Experience supporting primary aged children in the UK with SEN.
* A hard-working, empathetic & proactive approach is a must!
