Avencia Consulting are recruiting on behalf of a leading Specialty Reinsurance business based in the City who are looking to hire an Events Coordinator to join on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role will be based on site in their London office with occasional travel required.
The role
Reporting to the Group Broker Engagement Manager, the primary purpose of the role is to assist in the organisation and management of broker and staff events.
Key accountabilities
Assisting in the execution of broker events for the Underwriting and Management teams from budgeting and planning through to execution including troubleshooting on site at the events
Ensuring all approvals for events are tracked and out of office days reported as required.
Administration of company suite at the O2 arena including ticket distribution, ordering suite attendants and staff attendance tracked and reported on.
Ordering merchandise and other related materials and helping to maintain the merchandise stock and distribution.
Joining the London Engagement committees and managing the schedule of staff events over the course of the year, tracking engagement, budget and range of activities.Skills & experience
Basic competency in MS Office applications: Word, Outlook, Excel and Adobe required.
Strong interpersonal skills in order to work effectively and professionally with diverse groups
Proven prioritization and time management skills and ability to triage workload essential within a deadline intensive working environment.
Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated ability to deliver accurate, detail-oriented work within tight deadlines.
