The business are an established and successful precision manufacturer of small components and pressings.

They are seeking to recruit Press Setter for their busy operations.

Reporting to the Works Manager - the main purpose of the role is to set and operate power presses.

Key responsibilities and duties would be;

* Setting and operation of machinery to acheive production targets

* Carry out first off, last off quality checks

* Read, interpret and understand technical drawing details

* Ensure machine is running to optimal level

* Resolve any issues or problems with the machines or escalate any issues that are unable to be rectified

* Care and maintenance of machinery and tooling

I would be keen to receive your application if you hold the following experience;

* Experience of press setting

* Expertise on Bruderer or Bihler presses would be advantageous

* An interest in engineering principles

* Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings

* A "can do" attitude and punctual

The role is Days Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm and Friday 8am to 3pm

Pay rate - £13.50 per hour
