As a Teacher of Maths, you will be instrumental in developing students' problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills, equipping them for academic success and beyond. Your role will involve delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that cater to diverse learning needs, ensuring that every student can achieve their fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, prepare, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.

* Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, logical thinking, and a love for mathematics.

* Assess, monitor, and track student progress, offering constructive feedback to guide continuous improvement.

* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share resources, contributing to a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum.

* Participate actively in departmental meetings, shaping the development of the Maths curriculum and supporting the department’s overall success.

* Engage with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress and escalating any concerns.

* Play an active role in the school community, participating in extracurricular activities and supporting school events.

The Ideal Candidate:

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Mathematics or a related field.

* Has proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary level, with a thorough understanding of the national curriculum.

* Possesses a deep passion for mathematics, with the ability to inspire students of all abilities.

* Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills and the ability to cultivate a stimulating learning environment.

* Exhibits strong organisational and communication skills, thriving in a collaborative team setting.
