Job title: Solidworks Design Engineer

Solidworks Design Engineer required on a permanent basis for an established and successful SME manufacturing business.

In the role you will work within a multiple engineering disciplined development team, designing and creating quotations and orders. Assignments start at the concept phase and conclude with the archive of documentation.

Duties as the Solidworks Design Engineer include

• Using Solidworks to design and quote to customer specifications.

• Create production assembly level documentation during the development phase.

• Incorporate engineering change order throughout production life.

• Enter quotes/orders on to the system.

• Maintain contact with customers/suppliers to gather information and progress jobs.

• Site visits for surveys and installation management. Occasionally overnight stays may be required depending on the job.

• Acting as sales support for technical issues and queries.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a mechanical design engineering role.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical Engineering qualification (Degree, HND or similar) or QBE (Design experience).

• Proficient in Solidworks/CAD.

• Good IT skills.

Salary:

• £30,000 pa

• 23 days holidays + bank holidays. These go up by 1 day per year up to 25 days.

• Profit Relation Bonus Scheme.
