The Role

The successful candidates will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards, working on several electrical and mechanical areas within a chemical manufacturing environment, within a dedicated PPM schedule. The ideal candidates will come from a manufacturing background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with hands on experience. The role will also involve general mechanical work such as conveyors, crushers, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes other manufacturing heavy machinery.

They have 6 packing lines on site. The candidate will be working on predominantly packaging machinery therefore previous experience of working in a similar environment will be required.

Key Skills

* Experience of planning and prioritising workloads between planned, and preventative maintenance.

* Supported exposure of practical applications in the maintenance and repairs of electrical and control systems including modifications and installations.

* Must be multi skilled.
