We are looking to take on an experienced ALN Teaching Assistant to begin work from September 2024. The successful ALN Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to work in an inclusive and modernised Further Education setting in Cardiff, with staff who are committed to ensuring the progression and success of their students, and in a learning environment that promotes high-quality learning, independence, teamwork, and communication.

As an ALN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the Lecturer to ensure high standards of teaching, supporting students 1-2-1 with general school tasks, and helping the students develop and improve the skills and talents they need to achieve their absolute best.

Our successful ALN Teaching Assistant will:

Have Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and/or at least 6 months experience in Education
Have ALN experience and/or 1-2-1 experience
Have good behavioural management skills/experience with challenging behaviours
Have experience in assisting with and promoting Independent Living Skills
