The Position

Applications are invited for a Freezer Plant Team Member to work at our SARVAL Ltd, Doncaster Site. This is a full-time position, working 12-hour shifts, days and nights, on an 8-week shift pattern.

As a Freezer Plant Team Member, Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the production of all frozen products, ensuring smooth operations in the freezing process and maintaining quality control standards.

You will be responsible for various tasks, including operating the crane system, loading, and unloading plate freezers, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform quality checks on materials before and after plate freezing to ensure product standards are met.

Operate the crane system to load and unload plate freezers efficiently.

Load pallets into the automatic palletiser.

Load products onto the automatic stretch wrapper (FLT license preferable but not essential).

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the freezer plant, following housekeeping protocols.

Adhere to HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety and product quality at all times.

Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced and temperature-controlled environment.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality control.

Team-oriented with strong communication skills.

Willingness to follow safety and cleanliness standards.

Candidates should hold a Forklift Truck licence.
