A leading regional contractor are seeking to employ on a permanent basis an Finance Assistant to join their growing finance department. Ideally, you will be based around the Southampton/ Dorset region.
About the role of a Finance Assistant
You will be joining a comprehensive and experienced Finance Team, who specialise within the Construction sector. Preferably you will have experience within the construction sector but not essential.
Responsibilities for a Finance Assistant
Logging payments through banking systems
Provide support to staff within the business and external clients.
Prepare monthly reports for the board.
Assisting with contracts
Monitor Credit control.Requirements for Finance Assistant
Minimum qualification at A level Accountancy
Preferably experience in a similar role
Strong customer service skills both written and verbal.
Willingness to learn & develop skill set.
Proactive approach to workload
An eye for detail
