Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a forward-thinking school in Haringey. This bespoke role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on students with varying needs, tailored to your strengths and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and group support to students with specific SEN requirements, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Collaborate with teachers and SEN coordinators to deliver tailored learning strategies and interventions in line with Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, fostering independence and confidence in students.
Support students with both academic and social development, including emotional regulation and communication skills.
Assist with sensory needs, behavior management, and other individualized support as required.
Requirements:

Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and empathetic nature.
Proactive, adaptable, and committed to meeting the unique needs of each student.
Knowledge of strategies and interventions for supporting SEN students, including the use of assistive technology and resources.
Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant certificate or equivalent, are an advantage but not essential.
