Are you a hands-on, reliable, and proactive individual who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly? We’re looking for a professional Porter to join the team at Clifton Court, a well-maintained residential estate in the heart of St John’s Wood.

In this key role, you’ll be the friendly face of the estate – supporting residents, coordinating contractors, keeping communal areas clean and safe, and ensuring the site operates efficiently day to day. This is a varied and rewarding position that’s perfect for someone who enjoys taking responsibility and making a visible difference.

? What you’ll be doing:

Overseeing the day-to-day upkeep and smooth running of the estate

*

Carrying out regular estate patrols and fire safety checks

*

Supervising cleaning and gardening teams to ensure high standards

*

Responding to resident queries and providing on-site support

*

Carrying out light maintenance, rubbish collection, and basic handyman tasks

*

Managing security and access control, including fobs and parking

*

Assisting with seasonal duties like gritting pathways during icy weather

? What we’re looking for:

Someone polite, professional, and proactive with excellent communication skills

*

A team player who’s comfortable working independently and solving problems on the go

*

Experience in a similar role (e.g., porter, caretaker, estate operative) is essential

*

Handyman / Maintenance skills desirable

*

A good level of physical fitness to carry out practical tasks around the estate

*

A calm and responsible attitude, especially when dealing with emergencies
