A global and leading innovator in automation solutions and products are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer, where you'll drive consultative sales and deliver cutting-edge products to advanced manufacturers across the North West UK Region.
The Role
Partnering with existing clients and forging new connections across the region, this role will be responsible for expert consultation and tailored recommendations for products and services. This encompasses delivering cutting-edge presentations, engaging in trade shows, providing technical support, comprehensive product training, and exceptional after-sales service.
Developing and submitting quotations and handling customer orders as well as working with other members of the Sales team to ensure customer accounts are maximised, potential opportunities are followed up and ensuring market penetration.
Working to the CRM System to ensure contact are up to date.
Analyse and monitor the regional market data to implement sales strategies and promote the introduction of new products and assist with sales and technical support into target markets and accounts.
The Candidate
Ideally, although not essential, you should have a qualification within a related discipline such as automation, electronics, electrical or electro-mechanical.
You will have a proven track record of consultative sales within industrial products and services such as automation, sensors, vision systems, process control or advanced electro-mechanical products.
Solid communications skills and the ability to negotiate and work with stakeholders of all levels.
Background within a consultative sales environment where you will advise and support customers with a technical products encompassing sales analysis, market and competitor research and technical assistance.
