Adecco are seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our client's team in Headingley & Kirkstall, Leeds, for a temporary role in the student accommodation industry. ?

? As a Maintenance Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring our students have a clean and safe living environment throughout their stay. ?

Responsibilities:

Emptying and preparing bins for collection ?️
Cleaning the bin store floor and shop front style glass windows ?
Changing light bulbs and carrying out basic repairs ?‍♂️
Unblock showers and drains ?
Conducting regular visual checks on fire escapes and mechanical doors ?
Performing weekly checks on fire alarm activation and fire extinguishers ?
Ensuring fire doors close properly and window restrictions are working ⛔
Testing emergency lights to ensure they function without power ?
Undertaking small painting jobs ?

Potential responsibilities:

Investigating faults with door locks ?
Completing basic electrical repairs, such as replacing panel heaters or light fittings ⚡
Handling minor repair jobs, including chair legs and door closers ?
