Pay: Starting at £100 per day
 
We are currently recruiting for experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant for a large primary school based in Kingswood, South Gloucestershire. The school is rated 'Good' by Ofsted, who highlighted the carefully planned curriculum encourages children to learn well and the staff have warm and trusting relationships with the pupils.

The school is a part of a larger Multi Academy Trust and has received accolades and awards such as Eco-Schools, Health in Schools Bronze award, Anti Bullying Alliance and has a partnership with Bristol Bears.

Responsibilities of a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant:

Teach pre-planned lessons to Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) pupils when the teacher is absent
Support pupils in their learning and assist with classroom preparation
Organise and lead group activities for different pupil groups
Follow the school's policies and guidelines

Possess at least six months of direct experience working with children in an educational setting
Hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate, ensuring adherence to safeguarding standards
Have the legal right to work in the UK with appropriate documentation
Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students of diverse learning needs
Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting children, particularly those with SEN and SEMH needs
