Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworkers for a large ongoing commercial project in Portsmouth.

Our client are a regional Groundworks leader and are now looking to bolster there team leading the summer months.

Responsibilities

* Carry out groundwork activities including laying slabs, kerbs & edgings

* Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently as required for various tasks.

* Assist in the installation of utilities such as water, gas, and electricity lines.

* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

* Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.

* Report any issues or concerns regarding site conditions or equipment to the supervisor promptly.

Experience

* Previous experience in groundwork or construction is essential

* Familiarity with operating construction machinery is advantageous.

* A valid CSCS card

* Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately are essential.

* A commitment to safety practices and a proactive approach to problem-solving will be highly valued.
