We are currently seeking a Freelance Risk Manager with BPSS Security Clearance to work on a high-profile Government Programme based in London on a hybrid basis. This role sits within the Programme Management Office (PMO) and is at critical phase for the Programme. One key area to support the PMO’s capability and readiness for the Programme’s ‘Change’ phase is to reinforce the RAID management, this includes processes and procedures. You will work in collaboration with Key Stakeholders on the programme including the Head of PMO, RAID Lead and Reporting Lead. You must have the ability to thrive in an environment that is constantly evolving and respond positively to the challenges that come with that.

Tasks will include:

* Clear progress to date on the creation of the RAID strategy and framework.

* Summary of blockers that required assistance or escalation.

* Next steps on the plan / timelines and or changes to the schedule.

* Document an approach that will be used to develop the RAID strategy and framework, detailing:

* A clear approach on how the RAID strategy and framework will be produced,

* Tools and systems that can be utilised to automate and the efficient undertaking of RAID management tasks.

* The activities that will be taken to produce the RAID strategy and framework.

* The resources or people needed to produce the RAID strategy and framework.

* Timeline schedule of when activities will take place to produce the RAID strategy and framework. Detailing activities and milestones.

* Programme RAID logs, providing significant support to the project teams in the development and maintenance of project RAID logs

* Project and Programme reporting

* Monitor the delivery of the programme-level RAID log and activities against plans, challenging progress as appropriate.

* Manage dependencies and conflict between initiatives.

* Assess/evaluate information received from projects within the Programme

Essential Skills / Criteria:

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following criteria:

* BPSS Clearance is essential for this role

* Detailed understanding of programme management offices and their services, especially around the development and management of RAID Logs, risk tools and reporting. Able to manipulate data essential for reporting to key stakeholders

* Ability to be innovative, learn and share good practise in a fast-paced, changing environment.

* A strong communicator, able to communicate messages clearly to a range of audiences at all levels.

* The ability to build productive working relationships quickly and to engender confidence with the programmes and projects.
