To manage all inventory related duties including, but not limited to, receipt of goods, stock control, picking, packing and dispatch of orders, liaison with carriers and maintenance of the stores environment in line with Company Standards and Health & Safety guidance and legislation.

Duties and responsibilities

 Receive and record all goods received into Stores.

 Pick, pack and dispatch sales and service orders in line with Company service levels

 Process orders on carriers’ online systems

 Control the handover of goods to carriers

 Liaise with colleagues regarding stock manufacture and stock control

 Re-pack stock items as required in line with Company stockholding parameters

 Maintain the Good-In, Goods-Out and Stores areas to ensure a safe and clean working environment

 Ensure regulations regarding health and safety and ISO are followed at all times

 Carry out regular inventory checks to maintain high levels of stock accuracy

 Investigate and resolve stock anomalies and discrepancies

 Allocate stock to the most appropriate location in line with Company systems

 Assist with the preparation of instruments and spares/parts for sale, service and demonstration

 Liaise with suppliers and carriers

 Maintain all manual and computerised stock records and associated documentation

 Adherence to all Company policies and procedures

 Any other relevant duties as required

 Work with the Operations Manager to deliver continuous improvement of processes and environment in line with logistics best practice.

 Previous experience of supervising staff and processes
