MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Shift Technician to join a growing business in the power generation sector near Lancing. As a Shift Technician, you will be assisting your team in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant.

As the Shift Technician, you will be responsible for:

Working with the Shift team leader to carry out the daily plant operations by central control room
Identifying faults across the plant and finding solutions, ensuring maximum performance
Complying with the company’s health and safety regulations ensuring the plants environment is kept at these standards
Carrying out first line maintenance tasks
Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:

Proven experience in an operations role in a process environment eg: anaerobic digestion, biomass, water treatment etc.
Maintenance / hands on engineering experience is beneficial but not essential for this role
Willing to develop and learn new skills
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days and nights
This role would suit marine engineers looking for a move into the Power sector
