An exciting opportunity has arisen for Data and Operations Manager to join the dedicated team. As a Data and Operations Manager, you will ensure accurate and timely student data management to inform decision-making processes, develop and maintain efficient systems to manage student information, funding data and reporting as well as collaborating with college leaders to drive strategic planning and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:
Demonstrable experience of managing information systems in an education or similar environment
Be proficient in IT systems (Excel, SharePoint, CRM)
Have excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Possess strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to use personal initiative within a structured framework
Be able to travel to college locations as required
DBS is required (must be Enhanced with Barred list check)
Desirable Criteria:
Experience of working in an educational setting
Knowledge of alternative communication e.g. Makaton, AAC, PECs
Experience of working in SEND
Knowledge/experience of risk assessments
Knowledge of Health and Safety within the workplace
Willingness to attend off site events such as careers fairs, meetings and training
Basic knowledge of welfare benefits
Your duties as a Data and Operations Manager would be:
Overseeing all MIS systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance
Providing regular, reliable reports to college leaders and external stakeholders
Managing budgeting and financial reporting, supporting the Head of College to achieve efficiencies
Ensuring that students are accurately enrolled, and curriculum plans align with funding sources
Acting as the primary contact for audits and inspections (e.g. Ofsted, ESFA)
Leading on quality assurance, supporting staff with training and compliance
Salary:
£27,300 per annum
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week
Full Time, Permanent
Location:
Bexhill, Hastings, Rother and Eastbourne
