Develop and implement procurement strategies that support business objectives.
Manage supplier relationships and contract negotiations to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Drive innovation in procurement processes for efficiency and cost savings.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure their requirements are met.
Assess and manage risks associated with supply chain operations.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

A successful Head of Procurement should have:

A degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or relevant experience
Previous success in delivering procurement strategy to deliver cost and efficiency benefits within a manufacturing industry.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders
Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data driven decisions.
Proven track record of improving and managing procurement processes.

An attractive salary package between £60,000 and £70,000 per annum plus benefits.
