Position: Small Tools Fitter

Location: Basildon

Salary: £28,(Apply online only) - £32,(Apply online only)

Join our clients multi-depot independent Plant Hire Group in Basildon. Reporting to the Workshop Foreman, you will diagnose faults, repair, service, and prepare our range of small plant tools and equipment for hire.

Responsibilities:

· Handle diesel/petrol engines, hydraulic machinery, and electrics.

· Complete tablet-based job records and pre-hire inspections.

· Conduct scheduled servicing and repairs.

· Follow health & safety and company procedures.

· Work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

· Previous Plant & Tool Hire experience essential.

· Full UK driving licence required.

· CITB/NVQ qualification preferred but not essential.

Benefits:

· Mon-Fri, 45 or 47.5 hours/week

· Overtime at 1.5x basic rate

· 30 days holiday (including bank holidays), increasing with service.

· Day shift

· Monday to Friday

· Weekend availability

Experience:

· 2 years in servicing, maintaining, and repair (preferred)
