Meridian Business Supporting are working on behalf of a state-of-the-art College based in Merseyside. They are looking for a Lecturer of Accounting (AAT) to deliver stimulating and interesting lecturers to their students.
Role: Lecturer of AAT Accounting
Salary: £4,609.20 to £7,075.20 per year
Hours: Working day will be either Wednesdays or Fridays (dependent on enrolment)
Location: Merseyside
Start date: Late September 2024/October 2024
Our partnering College are seeking to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated individual to the role of Lecturer of AAT Accounting. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding area of the curriculum, which boasts continued learner success and achievement.
The role involves delivering outstanding lessons to students whose aim is to join the field of Accountancy. Along with excellent communication and presentation skills, a high degree of personal motivation and commitment are essential to the success of the post.
The successful candidate must work within the accounting department to support the success, achievement and enjoyment of their learners on their AAT Accounting programmes. The drive to develop curriculum, maintain excellent employer links and provide progression opportunities to our current curriculum offer is a necessity. We are looking for an outstanding staff member to complement and enhance our existing structure and be part of a team that supports colleagues and students.
Ideal candidates will
Hold a professional accounting qualification to at least AAT Level 4
Hold a relevant teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE) or be expected to achieve within a set period from the date of appointment (Desirable)
Be a full member of AAT and have experience of working within the accounting field in either the private or public sector
Be able to teach AAT
Hold Assessor and Verifier qualifications (desirable)Benefits
