The Best Connection Chesterfield are looking for a Metal Work Polisher for one of our clients based in the Chesterfield area.

They are a leading provider of high-quality, bespoke metalwork solutions, specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of custom metal products for both commercial and domestic clients.

Due to continued demand, they are seeking an experienced Metal Polisher to temporarily join their team.

Working Hours:

* Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

* Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

* Expertly polishing stainless-steel components to achieve flawless finishes.

* Safely operating a variety of hand tools and equipment.

* Adhering to all safety guidelines and operating procedures.

* Collaborating with the Foreman to ensure timely job completion.

* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of your work area and equipment.

* Performing fettling, grinding, and deburring tasks.

* Smoothing and polishing weld seams to a high standard.

* Assisting with general warehousing tasks in a metal workshop environment.

Requirements:

* Experience as a Metal Polisher within the industry.

* A sharp attention to detail, ensuring all work meets quality specifications.

* The ability to work independently and take initiative.

* A strong work ethic and the commitment to meet deadlines.

* Punctuality and reliability.
