Interim Finance Business Partner
Location: Coventry/Birmingham/Hybrid
Rate: £485.91 - £534.50 a day (umbrella)

We are seeking an Interim Finance Business Partner to join a leading Public Body working on one of the UK’s largest and most complex infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving financial accountability and efficiency within a high-profile programme that delivers value to the taxpayer.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide assurance and challenge to drive accountability and maintain focus on cost control.
Lead cost and efficiency initiatives to maximise value and improve financial outcomes.
Deliver high-quality management information and strategic advice to support senior management and stakeholders in decision-making.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including engagement at Executive level.
Drive output-focused, activity-based budgeting and forecasting to improve financial performance.

Skills & Experience Required:

Qualified Accountant with experience in complex environments (infrastructure project experience preferred).
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
Extensive experience in developing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in analysing and interpreting data to provide meaningful insights and reporting.
Knowledge of Government financial frameworks and accounting standards
