We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering techniques and be proficient in using various tools and materials to deliver high-quality finishes. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
* Surface Preparation
* Skim finish to various rooms including full kitchen and bathroom works.
* Damp works
* Repair and Maintenance work
* All aspects of Plastering will need covering.
Hours & Pay:
* 37 Hours a week
* Monday - Friday 8am-4pm
* £16.40 - £18.38 Per Hour.
Qualifications & Training
The first 2 weeks you will buddy up with another member of staff who can drive the van, after this you will undertake a driving test with the council then be given your own vehicle (candidates can take van home if they live within the Sheffield area).
* Minimum NVQ level 3 or equivalent
* CSCS Card
* Current valid UK driving licence- No more than 3 points
* Working at height using scaffolding / portable staging ladders and other access equipment
* Asbestos Awareness
* Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed.
