Daniel Owen are looking for a Cook in Barlby, Selby:

We are seeking an experienced cook to join our team, capable of preparing meals for up to 200 people.The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, strong culinary skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities & Info:

Prepare, cook, and present meals for large groups.
Ensure food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus and manage inventory.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Adapt recipes and menus as needed to accommodate dietary restrictions.
Working hours 7am - 2:30pm Monday to FridayQualifications:

Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a high-volume setting.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
An NVQ or higher in Catering/Cookery. You will require a Food Hygiene Certificate and Enhanced DBS - we can assist you with these if needed.Benefits:
