TeacherActive are delighted to be working with a private nursery located in East Cardiff. The private nursery are looking to take on a Deputy Nursery Manager on a full time temporary basis with the potential of a permanent position for the right fit Deputy Nursery Manager. For this role, you would be expected to support the manager in all aspects of the nursery including ensuring that the nursery is compliant with Ofsted guidelines, supporting the manager with recruitment processes and more importantly, expressing a creative and energetic personality that the children respond to. The successful candidate will need to have a Level 3 qualification in childcare as a minimum entry requirement and having room leader experience within a nursery setting would be desirable but not a must.

The successful Deputy Nursery Manager will have:

A minimum of a level 3 childcare qualification
Ability to get stuck in with the children creating a fun learning environment for all
Ability to support staff members
Complete routers and other admin expectations
A good knowledge of the EYFS and Child Protection / Safeguarding procedures
