Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to helping students, particularly those with special educational needs, thrive academically and socially. This role involves working closely with teachers to provide tailored support to students, including those with autism, ensuring that all learners receive the guidance they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and educational activities.
* Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to reinforce learning concepts.
* Support students with special educational needs, including those on the autism spectrum, by implementing individualised education plans (IEPs).
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs.
* Mentor students in developing social skills and emotional regulation.
* Maintain an organised classroom environment, preparing materials and resources as needed.
* Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices
